Treatment plans are individual and may combine acupuncture with cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, or a herbal prescription.

Herbs Meta is registered for TELUS Health eClaims, so eligible acupuncture claims are submitted at the time of the visit and patients pay only the balance their plan does not cover. Most Ontario extended health plans require a CTCMPAO-registered R. Ac or R. TCMP, which every practitioner at the clinic holds.

Ontario acupuncturists must be registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, holding the R. Ac designation, the R. TCMP designation, or both. Extended health insurers check this registration before approving a claim, so the designation should appear on every receipt.
